DAY TREATMENT
Our Day Treatment Program is designed to support children ages 9 to 18 who have experienced trauma, abuse, severe neglect, and who are facing serious mental health challenges. These children attend the program five days a week, where they receive both therapeutic and educational services. All children in our Day Treatment Program are enrolled in The Bansbach Academy, our on-site, accredited school, ensuring that their educational needs are met in a safe, structured environment. Day Treatment services are available year-round.
Each child is paired with a dedicated therapist who provides weekly individual therapy, with family therapy included when appropriate. Our clinical team also includes a psychiatrist who regularly evaluates each child’s progress and prescribes medications when needed, alongside a clinical psychologist who oversees and supports the therapeutic work of the team. This collaborative approach ensures that every child receives holistic, tailored care.
Day Treatment offers a therapeutic and positive environment designed to help children succeed emotionally, socially, and academically. It combines structure with support to encourage healing, learning, and growth. By addressing both mental health needs and academic goals, we help children build skills that support their overall well-being and prepare them for a successful future.
This program is particularly beneficial for children who require more intensive support but do not need a full residential placement. We aim to help them thrive within their community, while preparing them to return to their homes or transition to other settings when they are ready.
“I felt cared for and supported there. They taught me how to stay calm and focus on getting through the moment.”
